First shoot of the 2013 season - Leon & Ben at Bagden Hall

My first shoot of the season - a nice brisk, cold but dry day at Bagden Hall in Denby Dale, between Huddersfield and Wakefield. The couple in question were Leon and Ben and this was their civil partnership day. 

Their 70 or so guests entered into the spirit of the day, and the touching ceremony gave way to a good knees-up and a fantastic fireworks display. 

Bagden Hall is a great venue for weddings and civil partnerships - I've shot many wedding videos there in the past

Sammy & Ricki

The clouds parted and the sun shone for Sammy and Ricki at Fairfield Manor in Skelton, York - a quote from Sammy's mum, Pam, who hired me to film their big day

"thank you for it, it's brilliant, everyone that's seen it has said how good it is. It really brings the day back and makes you see things you missed on the day. I've watched it at least a dozen times and it still makes me cry, yes we are all very very pleased with it and will certainly recommend you. and thank you again."

First wedding video of the season next week!

The venue is Bagden Hall in Denby Dale, south of Wakefield - The event is the civil partnership of Leon and Ben and as well as being the first video of the season I've all new upgraded kit to try out - I'm filming all day and staying for the fireworks - really looking forward to it!
