A Wedding Video from Halifax, West Yorkshire

A breezy but sunny Yorkshire day proved the perfect weather for the wedding of Emma and Luke at the historic Mount Zion Chapel in Ogden near Halifax. The founder of the Methodist movement John Wesley himself preached here!

A wedding video from The Pavillions of Harrogate

You couldn't get a more Yorkshire setting than The Pavillions of Harrogate, in the grounds of The Great Yorkshire Show for a true Yorkshire wedding. Emma and John threw themselves into the spirit of the day and danced down the aisle to kick off the celebrations.

A Wedding Video from The Fleece in Barkisland near Halifax, West Yorkshire

Elle and Tony married in front of an enthusiastic crowd of family and friends at Christ Church in Barkisland, between Halifax and Huddersfield in Calderdale.

A Wedding Video from The Old Swan in Harrogate, North Yorkshire

St Roberts Catholic Church in the centre of Harrogate opened it's doors for the wedding of Melissa and Mathew.

A wedding video from Leeds Town Hall, West Yorkshire

You couldn't get a more grand setting than Leeds Town Hall for a wedding and Vicki and Tom's wedding party made the most of it.

Tying the knot at The Devonshire Fell

An intimate wedding for Amreen and Rolf at The Devonshire Fell in Burnsall, near Bolton Abbey in the Yorkshire Dales.

A snowy wedding at The Coniston Hotel 

2 hours of digging my car out of the snow enabled me to get to Tanya and Gareth's wedding at The Coniston Hotel, near Gargrave, Skipton at the weekend. 

Driving winds and bitterly cold outside but warm inside courtesy of a great bunch of wedding guests - i've never seen a more excited bride as Tanya and The Coniston hotel is a great venue for an intimate wedding.

A Wedding at Allerton Castle 

This was a fantastic day for everyone who attended the wedding of Kay and Chris at Allerton Castle, near Knaresborough in North Yorkshire.

From the hubub of the preparations, through to a Beatles tribute band in the evening, this was truly a day to remember - and Kay and Chris will certainly be able to look back on it with their wedding DVD.

First shoot of the 2013 season - Leon & Ben at Bagden Hall

My first shoot of the season - a nice brisk, cold but dry day at Bagden Hall in Denby Dale, between Huddersfield and Wakefield. The couple in question were Leon and Ben and this was their civil partnership day. 

Their 70 or so guests entered into the spirit of the day, and the touching ceremony gave way to a good knees-up and a fantastic fireworks display. 

Bagden Hall is a great venue for weddings and civil partnerships - I've shot many wedding videos there in the past

Sammy & Ricki

The clouds parted and the sun shone for Sammy and Ricki at Fairfield Manor in Skelton, York - a quote from Sammy's mum, Pam, who hired me to film their big day

"thank you for it, it's brilliant, everyone that's seen it has said how good it is. It really brings the day back and makes you see things you missed on the day. I've watched it at least a dozen times and it still makes me cry, yes we are all very very pleased with it and will certainly recommend you. and thank you again."

The venue is Bagden Hall in Denby Dale, south of Wakefield - The event is the civil partnership of Leon and Ben and as well as being the first video of the season I've all new upgraded kit to try out - I'm filming all day and staying for the fireworks - really looking forward to it!
